The Christmas market, the Granite Christmas in Hauzenberg, is, as the name suggests, located on the grounds of the Steinwelten in the old quarry. The exhibition installations and the romantic lake create a very special atmosphere. You can find special gifts, presentations and demonstrations of traditional handicraft techniques provide exciting insights into the history of the region. Numerous culinary specialties from the border triangle provide for the physical well-being.
The colorful Christmas market in the unique ambience of the Büchlberg quarry with 45 exhibitors, barrel fires, Swedish torches, numerous varieties of fortune wine and much more is divided into a Stade and a Rocky Stoabruchweihnacht. The Christmas tree, which is over 15 meters high and decorated with several thousand lights and can even be seen from Passau, around 15 kilometers away, is one of the highlights of the Stoabruchweihnacht Büchlberg, as is a floating Christmas tree.

Other highlights of the floating Christmas market are the 9-metre-high "mulled wine pyramid" and the "largest wooden nativity scene in the world".
The "Zwiesel Glass Christmas" takes place at the impressive glass pyramid on the grounds of Zwiesel Glas. On offer are delicious Christmas snacks and drinks, handicrafts & home-made products, which you should look forward to, especially from this region, live glass blowing and glass engraving and daily performances by music groups, kindergartens and the municipal music school.
