The Spektakulum Bayerwald medieval festival, which took place here from 9 to 11 August 2024, was a colourful spectacle full of life, music and entertainment. You could already feel the anticipation of the visitors at the opening on Friday.

The musical highlights, including Nikkijara, the devil's violinist, and Dave Vjerns with Terra Nera, brought the atmosphere to life. The fire shows by Avalon Feuerwelten, which lit up the night on both Friday and Saturday, were particularly impressive. Storyteller Marandula whisked visitors away into a world of fairy tales and legends.

There was an exciting programme for the younger guests: from workshops on felting and juggling to the juggler and squire school, there was something for everyone. The fairytale breakfast and the diverse market stalls with handmade treasures, jewellery and delicious food rounded off the experience.

All in all, the medieval festival was a successful mixture of tradition, entertainment and enjoyment that captured the hearts of the numerous visitors.
